How we became Hamilton Elevators
Managing Director Alex Brandon, a keen sailor, was enjoying some down time at Hamilton Island Race Week in 2009 with fellow sailors who included some leading architects and builders.
Knowing Alex was working with a major international elevator company, the discussion turned to the challenges developers faced with price and inflexibility of the market leaders. “Why don’t you start your own company?” they suggested. And a business idea was born over a few drinks post-race at Hamilton Island. Hence the name – Hamilton Elevators.
One simple word describes our approach: Easy.
Today Hamilton Elevators operates throughout Victoria and Queensland with a partner business in New South Wales. The business is led by some of the most experienced people in the industry which ensures optimum results in the key areas of operation whether a new installation, service, modernisation or replacement.

With over 30 years of experience in the elevator industry and having worked with two of the largest international elevator companies, Alex has the experience and knowledge to manage almost any elevator project. A keen sailor, Alex established Hamilton elevators 14 years ago on the advice of a few sailing mates who were developers and architects.

Marianne embodies the essence of precision and foresight, overseeing and co-ordinating construction projects from inception to completion. With a keen eye for detail, she blends analytical prowess with a creative spirit, transforming complex blueprints into tangible insights.
In her spare time, she loves socialising with family and friends and watching romantic movies.

One thing that stands out about Nathan is his willingness to help—whether it's assisting a customer, supporting a team member, or contributing to Hamilton in delivering on its expectations. We see this demonstrated weekly through the positive feedback we receive from Chairpersons, Strata Managers, and Builders.
Raising a young family with two boys is rewarding, and amidst it all, Nathan still finds time for one of his passions: 4-wheel driving and drifting.
